Broadband in Vista Komanwel

serene — Mon, 02/08/2010 - 11:21

Hi there.

I am gathering info to get internet access in VK; seems we have the choice of TIME Broadband, Netlynx and P1 is just too far for us (in Taman Espanade). Streamyx is not available, right ? Any feedback on the first two options ?

In fact, the one that sounds greats fibre broadband 50, unfortunately still not available in VK...

Are there any other options ? appreacite inputs. Thank you.

Cheers.

Serene

I think Time works fine, can't confirm.

P1 works in certain area, you will need to get the guys to come in to give it a shot. Streamyx is not available in Vista Komanwel due to Time being bastards and monopolizing the last mile in what seems like a tit-fot-tat move against TMnet.

You can also try Maxis Broadband and DiGi and Celcom. I'm personally greatful to the bigass yellow man :)

amax Customer Care Line: 1300 - 80 - 2629
amax Customer Enquiries: 03 - 7726 2629, 03 - 7727 4550
amax Email Address: amaxinfo@asiaspace.com.my

I'm on RM99.00 p/month Multiuser cpe modem 1.5MB Unlimited.
But thats the promotion they gave me 6 months ago when I'm subscribing.
Call or email them first to register your interest bcos they will send their staff to your unit to do signal check first. If no strong signal, then you no obligation to subscribe. But I'm in Block A1, signal mostly around 1.4-1.5MB all the time, except rainy/ weekend day signal could be weaker.

I personally think Maxis is

ferdinand — Tue, 03/30/2010 - 14:04

I personally think Maxis is bollocks, would very much rather be on dial-up then so-called broadband, in fact all the telco's are pretty much useless.
Seems though there is an option with Amax, should definitely give it a test run...

Been using Time for the past 2 years, it's very stable, compared to P1 or Amax. (:
